Your new safe space, strategic partner, & sounding board.

Today, less than half of the workforce is highly resilient. That means most people do NOT feel a sense of security, belonging, adaptability, and motivation at work. To me, that’s unacceptable, and why I believe the world needs more creative leaders.

Creative leadership is a management practice that leverages creative or novel ideas to solve complex problems and adapt to changing situations. It's a powerful style of leadership that women are uniquely equipped to excel at because it plays to our inherent strengths like endurance, empathy, creativity, dignity, tolerance, kindness, and integrity.

Private Coaching & Advising

I help women embody creative leadership principles, step into their power, and encourage others to do the same regardless of adversity, complexity, and uncertainty.

  • My clientele includes multi-disciplinary women in tech, media, finance, and more.

    Think:

    • Founders and executives at venture-funded startups and early-stage companies who need to sharpen their leadership and management skills to meet demand

    • Creators and other creative entrepreneurs who are ready to launch new verticals and scale their vision, team, and business

    • Seasoned leaders who want to reimagine and actualize the next phase of their career

    Other common needs:

    • Unlearn bad habits, reevaluate their perceptions of failure, work/life balance, success, and ambition, and redesign their lifestyles accordingly

    • Honor their story, identify their differentiating qualities, and lead with vulnerability to establish trust, boundaries, and connections at work

    • Sharpen their offers and priorities, and optimize their most essential resources – time, energy, and money – to increase the return on their investment and create sustainable, scaleable business strategies

    • Build confidence to take risks, advocate for themselves, and make authentic decisions that reflect their core values, lived experiences, and independent thoughts

    • Foster clarity of purpose, meaning, and impact for themselves and their teams, and develop systems to scale their vision

    • Establish authentic communication, creativity, and collaboration methods that foster the power of “we,” not “I, to build an equitable and resilient culture

    • Use creative problem-solving approaches to realize innovative solutions amidst identity and organizational crises, cultural and technological shifts, or economic and market uncertainties

  • Real-World Experience: I don’t rely on traditional coaching frameworks, accreditations, and degrees. My strength lies in my ability to relate to you because I’ve been there. I’ve built a business. I've worked alongside CEOs and industry thought leaders. I’ve led and fostered teams. And, last but not least, I’ve transformed f*ck ups and flops into unconventional springboards for growth, even in the most unlikely circumstances. Each step has gotten me closer to my purpose – to help you do the same.

Inward > Outward: You are an expert in your experience. That may sound cliché. But today, it's easy to get caught up in the noise of what other people are doing – especially on social media. It clouds judgment, intensifies insecurities, and degrades individuality. Listening to your gut instinct and intuition is the key to resilience. That said, I’ll continuously challenge you to look inward instead of outward for direction on your purpose and best next move.

Harmony > Balance: Unlike the ideal of work/life balance, harmonious living embraces the nuance and messiness of life. It acknowledges that all parts of who we are and how we spend our time, energy, and money (at work or elsewhere) are valuable, must coexist fluidly, and work harmoniously to meet six fundamental psychological needs if we wish to self-actualize: Detachment, Relaxation, Autonomy, Mastery, Meaning, Affiliation. When our needs are met, we can reach our highest potential, improving our performance, earning power, and ability to make meaningful connections.

High-Low Practice: In each session, we’ll identify relevant high and low points from your daily life and unpack why to identify patterns in your behaviors or belief system and the types of work or activities that fuel vs. deplete you. The goal? Leverage insights to craft informed solutions that lead you to your zone of genius and increase your comfort with sharing, reflecting on, and celebrating the highs and lows of your journey equally.

Growth Goals & Micro-Steps: Early success does not always translate to lasting success. My top priority is to inspire a lifelong journey of self-evolution and commitment to follow through. A growth-at-all-costs mentality is not healthy or productive. Slow, incremental progress is what drives long-term success sans burnout. That’s why we’ll continuously set professional and personal development objectives (i.e., Growth Goals) as we uncover opportunities or gaps in your needs and skill set. We’ll also commit to bite-sized actions, practices, rituals, and habits (i.e., microsteps) that lead to achieving (and sustaining) intended results.

Self & Systems Development: As a leader, you set the standards your team, community, and society pursue. You are the source of truth for how to behave vs. how not to. While self-development is essential, it’s just the beginning of our work together. As you acquire new insights, ideas, and skills on a personal level, we’ll architect management systems to reflect, scale, and reinforce them. We’ll also leverage them to craft authentic communication strategies, creativity techniques, and team collaboration best practices. Why? To ensure your contributions leave a positive and lasting impact, and empower others, regardless of your real-time presence.

  • My private coaching programs range from $2-4K per month. This pricing reflects my versatile experience across various industries and the additional research, intellectual property, network access, and on-demand support I can provide beyond the live sessions.

At a minimum, I’ll equip you with basic tools and systems. At a maximum, I’ll be your strategic partner and sounding board.

  • The flow of my coaching programs can be broken down into 4 key stages – Identify, Plan, Build, and Sustain.

Stage 1: Identify your problems, strengths, purpose, values, opportunities, priorities, goals, etc.

Stage 2: Plan your process, develop original tactics and ideas, and outline tasks for growth, improvement, and holistic alignment.

Stage 3: Build, assemble, or acquire the necessary documentation, assets, infrastructure, and systems to streamline execution/operations and produce optimal outcomes.

Stage 4: Sustain progress, track key performance indicators, implement checkpoints, and continue to evolve.

The time it takes to progress depends on your pace, bandwidth, commitment to the work, and unexpected challenges.

Each member contributes their experience, perspective, and ideas for the betterment of the entire group.

As the facilitator, I will guide topical discussions and ask select members to participate in live hot seat coaching. Together, we'll clarify the root cause of their dilemmas and brainstorm potential solutions, engaging other group members to contribute.

This fosters deeper understanding and connections amongst the group, broadens their experience, perspective, and ideas, and offers accountability for growth or progress over a set period.

The duration, cadence, and frequency vary based on your needs and goals.

  • A mix of 1:1 and 1:2 or 1:3 sessions (pending the number of co-founders) where we’ll:

    • Analyze how each co-founder spends their essential resources – time, energy, and money

    • Define their independent strengths, values, and methods for authentic communication, creativity, and collaboration

    • Identify alignments and misalignments in all of the above

    • Brainstorm new ideas for sharpening the alignments and solutions for regulating the misalignments

    • Agree on goals and priorities, and craft a collaborative implementation/improvement plan

    • Monitor progress and continue to identify opportunities to evolve as needed

“Tori brings equal parts warmth and strategic insight to her coaching sessions, a balance that is difficult to get right. She engages in deep discovery about you, your habits, beliefs, and aspirations. She helps you create forward motion and ensures that you are consciously choosing your next step forward.

This is so important for high-achieving women who have spent so long being goal-oriented that they've skipped over the work it takes to be mission-oriented. These types of women can be met with advice to dull their ambition or reconsider their relationship with work, but Tori addresses this work in a way that makes high achievers feel more empowered. She helps guide you from the "why" to the "how" and every step in between.

Importantly, finding a coach is about finding a connection with another human you admire. Tori is just that for so many of her clients. That feeling of being deeply understood is a common denominator in every interaction with Tori.”

“YummyColours has worked with Tori on several projects. From day one, we admired the thorough approach Tori brings to the subject, the deep research, and the wide understanding of the brand's objectives and directions. She’s also a confident presenter, outlining the work in a very clear and engaging way.

The most important point, I think, is this: Tori is a fantastic human being. She is so easy to work with, a true sparring partner where feedback is taken and given to improve the work at hand. Lighthearted when needed, but when necessary, Tori approaches each project with a true and deep sense of inclusion (gender, race, and physical abilities) and critical thinking to challenge the status quo. A true partner.”
